My husband and I are looking for a nice house to rent and to call home for the next several years. We have plans to start a family soon and will need something bigger than our 2 bedroom apartment we currently reside in. Our lease is up February 1st 2010, so we will be needing to move somewhere around then. To be more specific, we are looking for at least a 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom house in Eastern Jefferson County or Oldham County. We have an approximate budge of $1000 per month, but can do a little more if we absolutely love it. If utlities are included, we can also increase our budget to at least $1150 a month. We do have two pets- an older cat and a 10 lb, very sweet dachsund. We need the flexibility of being able to paint at least one bedroom however we wish, should we need to turn it into a nursery soon! Since we are coming from an apartment, we do not have any major kitchen appliances (stove, dishwasher, etc.) to use, so that will need to be provided. We do have a washer and dryer though! To be upfront and honest, we do not have the best of credit but we have never given our landlords a reason to complain! We are courteous, decent people looking for an equally decent place to live.
