This year we're supporting the USGP of cyclocross Derby City Cup. It's next weekend, October 24th and 25th, at Churchill Downs.

Stanley gear is one of the 2009 series sponsors of the USGP of cyclocross, and we're happy to represent at the Derby City Cup next week.

I will be there with a tent, some tables, some USGP branded product, and a bunch of coffee and warm drinks for people to fill up their mugs and bottles with.

What I'm looking for from you is an articulate, responsible, personable, enthusiastic, and ultimately awesome representative of the brand. It helps if you know what cyclocross even is, or if you're at least into bikes. While this isn't bike-related product, you will be surrounded by a bunch of bike geeks and racers and the people that support them, so if that's not your gig or your scene, this may not be for you. Having a basis in retail also helps, being able to learn and articulate features and benefits to folks is nice in the quest to inform and educate them in the splendor and beauty that is our mug/bottle (yes, it needs a better name). The pay is what it is, and for some that may be low, and for some that may be high. Regardless, I'm looking for someone who might've wanted to come to the race anyhow and is now super stoked that they get to go, watch some of the racing, talk to a bunch of folks, meet new people, get a cool new stainless steel vacuum bottle for their coffee, tea, or hot choc-y, and is in general excited about the prospect of being there and having a great time.

Please be able to count, so that we can keep track of currency.
Please be able to talk, to facilitate direct and effective communication with potential customers.
Please be able to stand, we will probably be doing that most of the day. Oh, and it may be wet. Even with the tent.
Please be able to sing, so that we can...alright, you don't have to be able to sing. But it'd be great if you could. That'd be super fun.
