Responsibilities:
• Engineering-level support of customer applications and demos
• Field sales support, sales technical interface for pre-sales opportunities

Requirements:
• 5+ years in advanced software systems engineering and support
• Ability to communicate and interface with customers in a professional manner
• SIGNIFICANT knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Ability to travel and work remotely from project sites as necessary
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and design/implement solutions
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Develop code and follow coding standards
Support and troubleshoot existing production systems and processes
Work with business analysts, developers and technical managers within MIS
Design complete solutions based on functional requirements
Write technical requirements/specs
Assist with defining and executing system test plans
Keep the business team aware of technical issues and potential roadblocks
Participate in issue resolution and escalation
Work with all teams to eliminate slippage
Communicate with individuals regarding tasks
Follow company change management and source code control (VSS) processes
Responsible for following programming and documentation standards as well as development and project methodology
Maintain documentation, including technical/system documents
Perform all duties related to the support of the products/systems

QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Driver License with good driving record.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Assignments are generally 1-5 days in duration. Hours will vary. There could be 1 assignment a week or 1 assignment every month or even every two months depending on location. We are generally given 2-3 days notice of an assignments start date.
Cell Phone Test Assistant - The contract employee will ride in the back of the van with the company engineer. The contract employee will answer/operate 2 mobile phones. The contract employee may have to sit for a long period of time in the back of a van (restroom and lunch breaks will be taken). Someone with cell phone experience will be helpful but not required. Must be willing to learn and take directions from the engineer. May bring own lunch OR be willing to eat at the restaurant chosen by the company engineer. Must have a clean background check and drug screen before starting. Please bring time-sheet card every day.
Pay rate is $12.00 hour
Timecards –all field employees are to bring their timecards with them, have the Engineer sign the timecard at the end of the day and then the field employee would drop off the timecard to the particular branch they are working with.
Sometimes I am given very short notice of a requisition which could be for the following day or same day.
A background check and drug screen must be completed before each Test Assistant can start.

Essential functions
This team provides first level nationwide (8 am-8 pm EST) support using automated CRM system, to end users via telephone calls and email for technical support
Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems
Documents, tracks and monitors issues to ensure a timely resolution
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Mortgage Servicing industry
Experience and Education
Associates Degree in Business, Marketing, CS or related discipline or equivalent experience
Previous experience in Mortgage Servicing or Financial Services
Minimum of 2 yrs successful Customer Service experience
Previous Call Center experience using CRM tracking software/system
Previous PC and/or system support experience
Proficient with MSOffice product suite
