19th Century Early Times Whisky sign. Sour Mash Whiskey

Sign has a brass plaque for C Hennecke Formators Milwaukee Wisconsin that produced plaster casts from 1865-1905

I was told this is the earliest sign the museum had ever seen. It seems that soon after the civil war the workers in the sign were depicted as white. And there are a few other differences as well. There are a few different signs that are similar but most are reproductions and again feature white workers as well as other design differences.

Sign is "approximatly" 46 1/2" x 34 1/2" x 4"
It is protecetd in a solid golden oak frame inside the table
The table itself is made of Florida pecky cypress, dowel, tongue and grove
and the table is approximately 51 1/2" x 42 1/2" x 18" with a 1/4" glass plate on the top.

The sign originally was hung in a Cincinnati bar in the early 20th century.

Shipping and packaging to be arranged by the buyer from 33543 Tampa Florida

IF THE POST IS STILL AVAILABLE THE SIGN IS STILL FOR SALE.
