I have for sale/trade a 2003 Land Rover Discovery. Clean KY title. This is an overall nice truck that I have been using as a work truck, but I have bigger projects and just need something more spacious. I would like to trade directly for an early 2000s Chevy Suburban or a Ford Excursion. I would also consider trades for a pick up, but it must be a crew cab with an 8-foot bed. Looking for direct trades. Visually I don’t need something pristine, I need a work truck. Just looking for something mechanically strong and reliable.

This Land Rover has new tires. They only have about 5k miles on them. I still have the original paper work so the warranty can transfer over. I also replaced the brakes along with calipers and rotors. I replaced both front wheel bearings. All that was done just under a year ago.
The only real issue with this truck is that it has a faulty XYZ switch. What that means is sometimes when going into reverse, you must go into park first then reverse. The XYZ switch is right under the AC drain line so water gets in there and causes a short. If you don’t use the AC or drive in deep water, you won’t experience any other issues. If those are things you want, then I would recommend replacing it. It is not that hard or expensive, just not something that concerned me.
The truck has Bluetooth stereo system that sounds good. It has black leather interior. Heated seats and windows work. The passenger window regulator was replaced last summer. It runs strong, I have driven it to Missouri several times along with Oklahoma. I also built a custom sleeping frame for the back, it comes with it. The interior is a bit rough due to it being used as a work truck, but it will clean up well. It DOES NOT come with the custom painted spare wheel cover as shown in the photos.
Like I said above, I want to do an even trade for either a full-sized SUV that can fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood in it or a pick up that’s a crew cab with an 8 foot bed. Otherwise $3500 OBO. Contact me if you have any questions.
