If you're looking for a bike that pedals like an xc bike and descends like a bat out of hell, the WFO is the bike for you. The combination of 29" wheels, 160 mm front/ 150 mm rear suspension, and excellent geometry make this one of the most fun and capable bikes I've ever ridden. The Monarch+ RC3 shock, when paired with Niner's CVA linkage, means this bike pedals really well too, even without locking the shock out. If you've ever ridden a WFO you'll know what I'm talking about.
I've had this bike for about 1.5 years. The fork, brakes, shifter, derailleur, cassette, chain, bb, and chainring were all bought/ installed around that time.
The rear shock, headset, and dropper are original to the bike, to the best of my knowledge.
The rear shock was just given a full service by SRAM. I have also just replaced all the pivot bearings with Enduro Max. Bike has been ridden around the neighborhood once since the shock was rebuilt and bearings were replaced.
The fork is still super smooth and shouldn't need to be serviced for awhile.
The dropper is starting to sag a bit (~5 mm) but this is hardly noticeable on the trails (for me, anyway). Probably due for a rebuild/ new cartridge.
The frame has some dents and paint chips (tried to capture this in the pictures) but is in good shape structurally. No cracks/ deformities to the best of my knowledge/ observation. The fork crown is missing some paint due to cable rub- currently covered with electrical tape.
I am selling the bike without the wheels pictured. The wheels are off of my xc bike and if you're using this bike for its intended purpose, you'd be better off with something a little sturdier. If you REALLY want the wheelset pictured, let me know and we can try to work something out. Will include the XT 11-42 cassette and the rotors (front is 180 centerlock, rear is 160 6 bolt) with the sale.
The chain is at around 80% wear and the back brake pads are kinda noisy... let a friend borrow the bike awhile back and they thought spray lube would be a great idea... long story short you'll probably want to replace the rear pads.
