The Hobie Wave is a recreational sailboat, with its hulls made from rotomolded polyethylene and an aluminum mast. It has a catboat single sail rig, or, optionally a fractional sloop rig. The mainsail is fully battened and does not employ a boom. It has plumb stems, reverse transoms, transom-hung rudders controlled by a tiller and no keel. It displaces 245 lb and has a draft of 1.74 ft with the rudders down and 0.92 ft with the rudders up. The boat has a capacity of four people. A mast-top float to prevent the boat turning turtle is included. The boat was purchased used locally without a trailer. A custom trailer was built to hold the Hobie as well as two 12 foot kayaks. The trailer is constructed with galvanized and stainless steel and has an adjustable tongue for ease of launching. It has buddy bearings and two new tires + spare in addition to a large storage box. Comes with original colored sail and like new white sail. Purchased as a project but now has to wait in line so time to sell. Stored inside and under roof during my ownership.
