1970 Camaro (California built) -----Cold A/C--------- 100% rust free - Never Had It!
Car has had 1 repaint in its life and I think the original color was gold. The actual miles are around 60,000 miles and that is the way it is on the title. The current paint job was done around 1999-2001 from best I understood by the guy I got the car from. The paint is driver quality and has minor chips and scratches as you would expect from a 24 year old paint job. With that said the car has always been stored inside and covered, so it still looks nice and get tons of compliments. When the car was painted it got a complete color change and there is no evidence of the original color on the car. The car was painted inside and out when it was done. He told me he was the second owner and brought it from California when he came out here to KY. It was my understanding that the car had never been out of California until he brought it here. He told me it was never driven in the rain as long as he owned it. I can say I have never driven it in the rain since I have owned it. Its sharp and it was bult to drive, not look at. This is not a race car. No big lopey cam pushing you though a red light and it runs great on pump gas! No crazy high gears making you a terror stop sign to stop sign, but a slug hanging out in the RT side lane on the expressway.
I am a professional mechanic. It's all I know and how I feed my family. I do all of my own work because nobody else can ever satisfy my expectations. So anything that has been done to the car since I have owned it has been done right and to the best of my ability. And I have done just about everything, everything except for a repaint.
A couple of years ago I took the car down to just the body sitting on jack stands and restored everything under the car and in the engine bay. Most all of the photos you see are just a couple of weeks old, and here is a very short list of some of the things done.
**Complete redone the front sub frame and suspension.
**All new adjustable coil over front suspension with tubular upper and lower control arms.
**All new 4 wheel disc brakes and soft brake lines.
**New aluminum updated and upgraded master cylinder.
**New cooling system.
**New rebuilt the 350 engine. 30 over with a mild cam and mild head job. Mild stall 325-350HP
** New 4L60 Transmission.
** All new rear end with new 3.36 gears and new posi
** New 2.5 inch Stainless Steel exhaust, From the manifolds back.
**Wheels and tires are just a few years old and look new 18" and 17".
** New factory tinted (medium smoke) glass, NOT window tint. The tint is in the glass, sides and back.
** New Dakota Digital gauges.
** Sealed LED headlights
** Customer grille work.
**Air blows cold
** Modern front seat belts
** Leather wrapped steering wheel

**I have done all kinds of different little things to the car, custom mods and changes. Stuff that you wouldn't realize were done unless you paid very close attention and knew exactly what you were looking at. Some I can't even remember I did, you would just need to come and see it. Here are a couple of things.

**Modern Mini-Spare and jack kit that I made and put together myself. You can't buy it, its complete 100% custom.
** Custom front grille. I never liked the RS Camaro front grilles. They stick out past the front split bumper and remind me of the old Gran-Prix Pontiacs. With the two round light and protruding front grille. But I love the split bumpers and low marker lights. So I custom bult the grille with a custom hood latch. Notice there is no janky hook sticking out through the grille. And no big gaping hole in the grille. Thats been redesigned and built, you can't buy that, it has to be custom built.

I have probably 200 photos that I can't get in the listing, but none of them do the car justice. The car looks like a new car underneath and that is not an exaggeration. The interior and paint are sharp. Seats where restored just before I got it and sit great. After getting a body off restoration it has mostly just set in the garage under a cover. Couldn't stand the thought of getting it dirty.

With that said. No Joyrides or tire kickers. If you want to see the car you will have to call me. Speak to me on the phone and set up a time to come and look at it. If you are unable to do that, you will be unable to buy the car. If you try to contact me about the car by email or text I am just going to delete that email or text without responding. I will not email back and forth with you about the car ( other than to send you additional photos or information after we have spoke) or text back and forth. Thats how scammers work, so why bother with those folks. I am not interested in trades of any kind so please don't ask. You couldn't even come close to building this car for this price. Please do not waste my time, I would not waste yours. Please give me a call. Thanks, Scott. Phone---- ( five-0- two ) four 1 Nine- five 2 six 8
