This greenhouse has been awesome for our small scale use, but we have outgrown it! I use it as a greenhouse in the winter on our 4x8 raised bed garden with 6-8 chickens in it over winter. Pop it off the garden bed in the early spring and use it as a cold frame to start or keep young plants going…pretty versatile. You could even take off the plastic and put hardware cloth on it and have a chicken tractor in the summer! It is 2 ft tall on the side and 3 ft in the middle peak. Two shower doors are installed for easy access to chickens or plants. The bottom 12” is a fiberglass subway tile board that weathers amazing….I usually will put it in the garden bed in the winter, add wood chips or other carbon material, and the chickens stay on that all winter long. The two boards on one end are covering two different doors that can be used or not for access to a coop, etc. Pull the greenhouse off the bed and plant flowers right in it! This is an awesome homestead/permaculture starter structure, hoping someone can put it to use like we have!
