Ok, I know that’s quit a claim but let me explain why…

Using quality lumber, I first cut every piece. I then char each and every piece of wood using an ancient Japanese technique that preserves wood absent any chemicals called Shou Sugi Ban (charring wood). I then generously rub on to the finished wood, boiled linseed oil to really add a protective coat absent any chemicals. The sides are corrugated, galvanized steel panels which are held in place using exterior decking screws. There is no bottom/base.

The dimensions are:
• 12 feet long
• 4 feet wide
• 3 feet high

I recommend filling the box using Hügelkultur, a technique whereby you fill the raised box with old/rotting wood logs, wood chips, branches, dead leaves, etc. I put an initial layer of cardboard directly on the dirt, then the biomass, then 1-2 feet of soil which you plant your favorite organic / GMO free plants into.

I create, make my own soil using a combination of organic manure like Black Kow at Lowes, Peet Moss, Vermiculite and Perlite to help with moisture retention and drainage. I also add some biochar and if I really want the soil to be fancy, I’ll add worm castings and a few other things. You will need about 16 cubic feet of fertilizer, 5 cubic feet of peat moss, 32 quarts (4 bags of Miracle-Gro perlite – best price is at Walmart).

I will build, deliver and set up your box for $2500, to fill the box would be extra.

Best,
Todd-
