14-inch diameter. Sounds great, very loud! However, the nylon slide block for the snare throw-off should be replaced if you want to switch quickly from snare to tenor drum. Or replace the throw-off entirely. I use it as a snare and works just fine.
Has synthetic gut snare wires ($86.00 value). Drum costs over $600 if new.
