Vintage Traynor YGM-4 Amp - $625 (Sellersburg)

Vintage 70’s Traynor YGM4 Studio Mate. Built like a tank with handwired combination of eyelet board and point to point construction. This beauty wrings nearly 25 British sounding watts out of a pair of EL84 power tubes. The YGM series often considered the Canadian Deluxe Reverb - this amp is unique in that it’s loaded with an original quartet of 8-inch speakers and flexible EQ circuit for a powerful and immersive sound! (Seriously- this thing can do clean Fender, VOX jangle, and crank it up for some Page or EVH Supro or Marshall tones at reasonable output levels). Also had on-board spring reverb and bias vary tremolo circuit that almost sounds uni-vibey at some settings. Not in need of any service and is ready to go.

These Traynors are also a great platform for amp mods for those with the necessary knowledge of electronics and electrical safety; but sounds phenomal as is. Trying Craigslist before posting through the usual online sales sites.

$625 OBO

Also have a finished head cabinet that fits the chassis that I’m willing sell with the amp for an additional $225 for anyone who is interested.

Please reach out with any questions. Thanks for looking!
