Off road camper project.

My shop got too busy and I probably won't have time to finish.
I was building on spec...I've sold one similar in the past and have made M416 style trailers for a long time
Steel Frame. 2x3 rect tube.
Steel support for the body. 1" 16 ga steel tube mainly
.063 aluminum skin
3/4" plywood floor. Primed on the underside. Bolt in.
Approx dimensions 4' wide 7' long box. 3' tongue.
3500lb axle with brakes.
New Cragar D window tires. 15x8 31" mud tires. 5x 4.5" bolt pattern.
I have windows, slam latches, handles, led lights, jack, chains, etc.
I will provide door skins, and you can have enough 'scrap' steel and aluminum to do most of the work.
I'll wire the lights and make a ball coupler for the receiver style hitch to get you down the road.
The basic idea of this is an off road version of a "teardrop" trailer that sleeps two inside and has a galley in the back.
I have nutplates under the aluminum on top you can bolt a roof rack to. You could put a roof top tent on this to further expand capacity.
Do a search for expedition camping to see a ton of builds.
Feel free to call or text to ask questions/see. Can be seen daily at my shop on Bishop Lane.
